THE HOTKEY TRAY MENU

Despite its reliance on hotkeys, the program does have one menu that you access with the mouse. You access this "Tray Menu" by clicking (either a right- or left-click will work) on the HotKey tray icon (the HotKey tray icon in the bottom left of the screen). The items in the menu allow you to do various HotKey configuration type tasks, some of which can also be assigned to hotkeys. The items are included in the tray menu either because they are important, yet easy to forget, or because they are not used often enough to warrant having their own hotkey/function assignments.

The options in the tray menu are summarized in the table below:

Reset Current Key Bindings Overwrites the currently active configuration file (keys.cfg, keys2.cfg, or keys3.cfg) with a copy of the default HotKey config file. N/A
Show Current Key Bindings Displays a webpage in Explorer showing the key bindings in the currently active configuration file. N/A
Edit Key Bindings Opens the currently active configuration file (keys.cfg, keys2.cfg, or keys3.cfg) in the default text editor. None, but it is equivalent to using OpenFile on the active config file.
Update Keys Reloads HotKey settings from the active configuration file. Use this to apply changes after editing a configuration file None, but equivalent to toggling the hotkeys off and back on using ToggleOnOff
Switch active cfg file to... Changes the active configuration file. The currently active configuration file name appears in several of the options, and has an asterisk next to it in the submenu of this option. UseConfig[1-3] (see HotKey Control Functions)
Clear saved ExtraCopy clipboard data Removes .clip files used to save data for the ExtraCopy functions (see the explanation here). N/A
